I just came across this
subtle piece by Tim Hawkinson. When I read who it was by, I had to stop and think about it–nothing I've seen of his is ever simple. It looks it, but never is. The sculpture was done in 2001 for the University of California in San Diego, as part of the Stuart Collection. It's made up of eight very large boulders, and weight 180 tons.
