Ron Loranger

I visited Ron's place earlier this week to hang and catch up on his work. He's installing this series of large-scale ink drawings and water colour "blobettes" at Glendon Gallery, York University, in Toronto. Minimal in content yet intriguing and inviting in narrative, these new works are beautiful. Follow this link for info on his exhibition. It opens Tuesday, February 7th.

NOW (1 of 2)

Since July of last year, Katherine Dennis (curator), Sean Martindale (artist) and myself have been working towards NOW: A Collaborative Project With Sean Martindale and Pascal Paquette. We got to lots of fun stuff. Here are a few images of it coming together. The show is open and runs until April 1st. More here and here.

From top to bottom: Sean's pile of goodies; The NOW Up video set; ShopAGO's window panels in progress showcasing an all-range of graffiti styles; Katherine working in the studio; Sight painting our Kensington wall for our Whitewash video; Murat installing the large red NOW for our piece Now Ago.

14 Widmer

Here are progress shots of a wall I started in November. Find it behind 14 Widmer Street in Toronto (near Adelaide and Peter).
